Fusion Edinburgh
Spend a day with the accountants and technology leaders reshaping practice and discover what's next from TaxCalc
Fusion, TaxCalc’s in-person event for accountancy practices, comes to Edinburgh this September. The day opens with Eriona Bajrakurtaj, owner of Majors and Volt, who will share how firms are using their technology stacks, where AI is genuinely improving workflows, where it falls short, and what’s next for practice technology.
Nila Khan, Head of Accelerate, then unpacks the private equity boom in accountancy. She outlines what investors really look for, the alternatives to selling up, and how AI is shifting everything, from firm valuations to hiring decisions.
After lunch the TaxCalc team walk you through the product roadmap and close with Power Hour Live, an open session in which you put your questions directly to the people building the software.

Speakers
Eriona Bajrakurtaj, Owner, Majors Accounts and Volt
Eriona owns two businesses: Majors Accounts, an accountancy practice, and Volt, a consultancy. That means she has tested her technology decisions in her own practice before advising anyone else on theirs, and she brings a working practitioner’s view of what AI has and hasn’t changed in day-to-day delivery.
Nila Khan, Head of Accelerate
Nila leads Accelerate, working closely with firms navigating growth, investment and ownership decisions. She has a front-row view of the private equity activity currently reshaping the profession and of the alternatives open to firms.
The TaxCalc team
Senior members of the TaxCalc product and leadership team will present across the afternoon. They’ll demonstrate Engager in a live practice management walkthrough, set out the product roadmap for the year ahead, and close the day with Power Hour Live, taking questions from the floor.
